Dawson HR strengthens support for Dumfries & Galloway employers
Small businesses in Dumfries & Galloway now have easier access to trusted HR support, as Dawson HR is expanding its services across the region.
The growing consultancy already works with several local organisations, and is now deepening its presence in the area with new team members and tailored packages for the region's small and medium-sized employers.
Helen Dawson, Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and Director, said, "We already work with fantastic clients in Dumfries & Galloway and know the business community here well.
"We're really excited to be growing in the right direction, building stronger relationships and making support even more accessible for employers across the region."
The expansion follows our recent rebrand, which reflects Dawson HR's next stage of growth and long-term vision.
As part of this, we've launched simple, cost-effective HR care packages designed to help local businesses get the essentials right, from contracts and policies to day-to-day support. These are particularly valuable for employers taking on their first team members or formalising their people processes.
To support further growth in the area, Helen has also enlisted the services of Steve Lees to support business development and introduce Dawson HR's services to more employers across south-west Scotland.
One Dumfries & Galloway charity, with over 50 employees, first approached Dawson HR for a one-off training session, but soon established an ongoing partnership. "We now have Helen on an ongoing retainer to support our organisation and train our managers," said a spokesperson. "Having Dawson HR by our side gave us confidence that we were taking the right actions, in the right way. It's a really great service."
